Jesus Arvizu: The Real Deal Cowboy Behind Cocoraque Ranch

Howdy, I’m Jesus Arvizu. For over 25 years, my life has been this land and these cattle. Cocoraque Ranch isn’t just my business—it’s my heritage, my passion, and my home. As a third-generation rancher and Tucson native, my goal is to share the authentic spirit of the Old West with every guest who visits our ranch.

My Story & Roots

My family’s roots in ranching run deep, originating from Nacosari and San Pedro de la Quierva in Sonora, Mexico. That legacy of hard work, respect for the land, and genuine cowboy tradition is what I bring to Cocoraque every single day. I homesteaded this ranch with my family to preserve a way of life and to offer folks a true taste of the West, not just a performance.

More Than Just a Rancher

While tending to the cattle is a daily labor of love, my greatest joy comes from sharing this experience with others. Whether you’re here for a wedding, a cattle drive, or a corporate retreat, I’m usually the one behind the scenes (or out front on a horse) ensuring your experience is authentic, safe, and unforgettable. I’m an avid roper and take pride in being a hands-on owner who truly cares about your time on my ranch.

Why It Matters for Your Event

When you choose Cocoraque Ranch, you’re not getting a generic event space. You’re getting a piece of living history guided by someone who lives and breathes this lifestyle. My team and I are committed to providing a genuine, affordable, and flexible experience because we understand what it means to be good stewards of this land and good hosts to our guests.

I invite you to come out and experience the difference for yourself. Feel free to reach out to me directly with any questions—I’m always happy to talk about the ranch.

Thank you for your interest in Cocoraque Ranch,
